Complimentary Equipment
Our guests enjoy the use of complimentary equipment including Paddle Boat, Row Boat, Mountain Bikes, and Canoes both on the river and the lake.
Brereton Lake, which is approximately 3 miles by 5 miles with an average depth of 15 to 18 feet, supports a good population of Walleye, Northern Pike, Perch and Crappies; for GREAT Spring & Fall Fishing. We also have boats & motors, and kayaks for rent.
The stream that meanders through the Resort, widens just below the little falls forming a navigable waterway; offering secluded Canoeing, Fishing & Wildlife viewing opportunities; and a number of quiet spots where you can steal a few minutes to enjoy the beauty of the area.
Living down stream we have fox, beaver, otter, and deer. As well, a number of species of waterfowl such as the magnificent Blue Heron nest in the area.
Hiking
Located in the heart of the Whiteshell, our guests have easy access to all of the hiking trails in the Park.
We have two beautiful hiking trails that take off from the resort; as well the Trans-Canada Trail goes right by our door. As you stroll along enjoy the seasonal berries along the trails. There are over 100 Geocache sites in the Whiteshell Provincial Park.
Recreation
Tennis courts on the lake and we have rackets to borrow. We also have crocket set, balls and gloves, Frisbees etc to borrow from the office.
We have a sandy beach right in front of the resort.
